Facial Rejuvenation Therapies

Many patients come in with various skin concerns including acne, eczema, rashes, pigmentations and premature aging.  At Vive Health, our individualized approach ensures we examine and address the underlying concerns to these skin issues.  Diet, lifestyle, toxicity and hormone balance must be addressed in order to achieve long-lasting healthy skin.  Once these important factors are in place, patients may choose to utilize treatments to further enhance their skin.  These two popular and effective therapies are outlined below.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

Facial acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to treat facial irregularities stemming from underlying medical conditions.  Over the last decade, facial acupuncture has gained popularity in North America as a natural treatment for cosmetic benefits.  A series of facial rejuvenation acupuncture treatments have been shown to help:

– Improve muscle tone and dermal contraction
– Increase collagen production
– Reduce and eliminate bags under the eyes
– Eliminate puffiness by improving metabolism
– Minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
– Improve hormone balance
– Tighten pores
– Promote overall health and well-being

Extremely fine needles are used in specific areas of the face as well as other parts of the body to strengthen the effect and create internal energy balance.  A course of treatment consists of 10-12 sessions administered once to twice a week with each session being 90 minutes in length.

Mesolifting

Mesotherapy for facial rejuvenation (also known as ‘mesolifting’) is a treatment that stimulates healing and regeneration of cells by injecting small amounts of vitamins, minerals and amino acids into the superficial layers of the skin.  Mesolifting aims to:

– Nourish and rejuvenate skin
– Promote collagen and elastin production
– Stimulate metabolism
– Hydrate, tone and revitalize the skin

Mesolifting treatments are done weekly for 6-8 sessions with each session lasting 45-60 minutes.  Special facial masks are applied before and after the injections followed by a final natural repair cream application.  The skin immediately feels tighter, smoother and healthier.

Mesotherapy can also be used for hair thinning/hair loss, stretch marks, scars and acne.
